Welcome to Piccolo Kids OT Services Occupational Therapy

At Piccolo Kids, we offer a range of services to help improve your child's everyday life. Our services include assessment and interventions for children aged 2 to 12 years, relating to:

• Sensory integration therapy: activities designed to help children better process and respond to sensory information.
• Fine and gross motor skill development: exercises and activities to improve coordination, strength, and dexterity.
• Activities of daily living (ADL) training: teaching skills related to self-care such as dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Handwriting skills: techniques to improve handwriting legibility, speed, and consistency.
• Play-based interventions: using play as a medium to address various developmental goals.
• Visual Perceptual Skills: activities to help develop a child's ability to process what they see to assist in developing their writing and classroom skills.
• Social Skills: strategies to assist children to interact with their peers and form lasting friendships.
• Emotional Regulation: therapy to help children understand emotions, what they are feeling and how to manage in different environments.
• Parent/carer and educator support and training: providing parents, carers, and educators with education, strategies, and techniques to support the child’s development at home and in other settings.

Piccolo Kids Services offers Functional Capacity Assessments during the school holidays.

Currently, Piccolo Kids does not provide services relating to: ·· Feeding assessment and intervention· Equipment trial and prescription· Home modification· Hand therapy or splinting.
